Catherine wasn't amused by the invitation, or the fact that he continued to take advantage of one of her officers. Clearly the man thought that he was above the law, and that nepotism would save him from whatever fate awaited him with the Council. "Del Frisco's.. who the hell does he think is paying?" She muttered to herself before turning her attention back to Molly.
"Ah.. about that..." She said, looking clearly uncomfortable with having to explain how exactly. "More than likely the shields you've been given are inadequate... and given the nature of whom exactly is taking advantage of them..." Catherine explained carefully. She doubted that they had actually considered much if anything when making them.

"I'll see if Rahal can make some then. They should be adequate if he does it, I hope." She hoped. Maybe if she explained the situation, though regardless it would cost an arm and a leg. Anything that wasn't him being charitable did, for good reason. Molly held up the amulet and witched her fingers by her eyes. "Burned the damn thing out." At least it was pretty. Of course now she'd be leaking all over the place. "I have some at my desk. I know I have to have one to come to work." That had been judged the last time someone had decided Molly was the team member to possess and her shields had been torn down. Apparently she was entirely too loud of a thinker.
She stretched and eyed the man still knocked out and checked his pulse. Well, it was still strong, so there was that. Hopefully the doc would arrive soon. Still, she hadn't meant to hit him that hard. She was definitely taking a week or two off to work on her control again. "You going to meet him there?" The kid sure as hell wasn't. Molly planned on sticking her with Brandon, in, if they had to, the Lessard manor. She'd like to see someone break in there. It would require her to be wearing a purification amulet, but it was possible, if in definite need of foresight.

"I hope so too." Catherine agreed. Getting Rahal to do it though, that was going to be the difficult part. Even if Catherine or any of them managed to convince the mage to do it, he'd likely exact a price that he felt was adequate. Sometimes the prices paid weren't exactly cheap either; and when it came to Rahal, it could get very expensive, very quick. "But, I'm not surprised he burned through it... I'll be honest with you Molly, most of the wards you pick are cheap and ineffective." She added.
But there was still the question of whether or not she was going to actually meet Grigore at the requested place and time. "I'll be honest, I have better things to do than sit there and listen to some old bat drone on while I have to babysit some brat." Catherine remarked. She wondered if Grigore had figured out she didn't tend to answer summons and usually found a good enough reason to ignore them.
For the most part, aside from any work obligations, Catherine was largely reclusive and prefered to keep to herself.

"It's too public for a sting." Molly pointed out, and then sighed. "And I can't find someone who makes good mental wards. I don't know enough about that portion of warding to feel comfortable with making my own either." Mental magic, or magic that effected the mind in general, could really fuck you up if you did it wrong. There was a reason no one used spells to be more intelligent or to think faster. They were dangerous. Even potions to help were less useful than a cup of coffee or some mundane pills to help focus, when it came down to it.
The cheap and ineffective ones may not work well, but it was usually enough for around the office. "And they work against literally every other telepath in the office." Catherine was just hard to ward against. Still, if it could hold Catherine, it could hold most anyone else. Ugh, but getting Rahal to make it would likely burn through her savings. It would work perfectly and be exactly what she needed and it would hold up against basically everyone in existence, but the cost...
Whatever. It would be worth it to never deal with anyone else in her head ever again.

"You think I don't know that? Like I said, I'm inclined to ignore him.. but we all know how well that might go." Catherine replied, wondering what exactly the other was thinking. She had known full well that a sting wasn't possible, that trust had to be built up first; but it it wasn't exactly like the other had been able to instill any trust the way he went about things.
"But look, get your personal wards fixed or your off the case. You've become a liability."
