"Ganblood ingots...you pull the iron from your blood for an iron supply?" That was metal as fuck. Literally. "I mean, there's a joke about having a sword made from the blood of your enemies, but that's about it." Molly considered things. "You can keep the blade. Karato would rather it go to someone who used it." Okay, not really. Karato would rather be it's only owner and never die, but she was already dead, killed in MCU custody. Molly had general issues with her workplace.
There was a reason she considered behaving to be optional. They had killed someone who had been tied to her soul. The addition of the binding just meant that the only reason she hadn't left yet is because she was now stuck looking like a teenager so it would be hell to get a new job. She had been planning on sticking around in order to find who had done the deed, but the details were scarce on even who was working the cells that day. They had done an excellent job on information wipe out and she had been too messed up mentally to go straight to the scene and get details when she felt it happened.
"Yeah. Nails in my brain is a good way to put it. No clue how I'm supposed to work right now, at least as a specialist, but that's life." She shrugged and considered things for a moment. Finding a husk would involve breaking six different laws to Sunday and back, if she didn't go for the boots on the ground option. "Listen, we need to get you human shaped, in order to find a good husk for you." Molly couldn't do all the leg work for this. "So for now, you can borrow my form. I should still be able to embue some stones with a glamour to make you look less like me. It won't be physical, like the boys, but it will be something. Even if the tattoo carries over, so long as it doesn't get activated, you should be fine."

Flynn nodded, "Yes, it is blood metal. Iron comes from the water which comes the towers of Gan that hold up the ceiling. All old names. Our blood is touched by Grandfather Teeth so it is blue. It took several years of bleeding to make the token of a veteran reacher."
Nearing to molly Flynn circled while sniffing her legs and hands. Eyeshine vanished amid the inspection with a flick of her third eyelid to the flat black hunter's eye. The reacher huffed once at her hands stretching a bit on her tiptoes to see the back of Molly's head. The body was different and not quite human but there was a strange scent to her she thought she recognized.
Flynn gave a prod of her legs and commented, "You? I can make a single use husk for now until it is done. Your glamour is less exhausting. That will work. You know you've spent a great deal of time in a particular husk I think. The flesh is not well lighted. Hmm.. tongues does not translate that well. MmMmrrrff ... An image of you upon me should be stable."
The whelps were still quiet having fallen asleep at the table on top of their plates.

"The form isn't...my magic moves different in this form. It's a little unsettled. My...calling my glamour a husk is probably more accurate." She shrugged it off. "So it makes sense that the flesh of this form isn't, well lighted." She mostly got what the other meant, even if she was tripping over herself trying to speak the concept. This form, for all that it had been hers for 67 years, wasn't well-used at all. Still, it was good to know that the image would be stable.
"Alright. Is there anything I need to do?" She glanced to the table, checking on the kids. They were fast asleep. That was all too adorable. Still, if Flynn was going to take her form, she'd have to adjust the glamour on the boys so that it matched more. Molly was not exactly the same shade as the kids were. Still, this was going to be interesting. She was going to have a mirror image, and this time, it would be a mirror image of her true form.
Yeah, she could feel the uptick in nightmares already. That'd be fun.

Flynn nodded and gestured at the floor as she retrieved her coin, "Lie down. Your blood flow is perturbed by gravity."
Bright cobalt coin set down on the floor it impacted with a hollow pound echoing in the room. As Flynn mustered her blood wood grain around it squirmed and perturbed turning angular. A hollow rhythmic thud came from the floor more akin to the modern ones such as Molly with the telltale metal dance of clockwork. Flynn quietly turned the key of her focus the floor softly vibrating along with it. Small black dust emerged from the stained glass hollows in its top even squeezing through the glass itself. They took on a small spiral galaxy of intermittently glowing pips in time with that faint ticking of a distant clockwork.
Both hands flat over the spiral they abandoned ranks to flow up to her hand then reached one hand in a long blue strand that followed the other. The start of a rectangle and base frame for the husk sensing area. Thin solid weaving of blood a strange descendant of Icovellavna common to some Slyvan ritual but at times bent angular and metallic. Much of it resembling the spoke and pin of gears.
Flynn paused to look up grinning under her black eyes, "Unsettled perhaps. Your tower will still hold the ideal of its foundation. The fun is in finding out which shadow your traveler leaves on me!"
Reachers always did have an odd taste in entertainment.

Molly laid down amused. "Gravity does that." She agreed and fell quiet, patiently watching the magic. The other had seemed certain this would cause no harm. Molly had chosen to trust her. It was time to see if that trust was going to be misplaced or not. "Let's find out what shadow you'll get then." She could feel her magic reacting. It may be dimmed to human levels, but she still had it, could still work with hand signs and with stones the magic she wanted to do, so long as it didn't use too much magic.
She was still very much in tune with her magic though. To be a wardbreaker was to be intimately familiar with your magic, to know every drop and every fold of the energy that you used and how energy moved and how your magic moved through you. Her physical glamour had altered that some, an impossible thing made by a child and kept up as she grew older. But that didn't mean she didn't know her magic in this younger form either. the body wasn't familiar, but her magic. Her magic was.

Flynn's suture hand laid down twisting patterns along the legs a hand and eye drawing over the magic coursing through her. A long view by a practitioner of the blood as she laid patterns of familiar resonance. Someone stitching a tapestery of ley lines writ to create an earth for someone's rivers of blood. The source of their learning shown by their study of life. As she passed to the torso the patterns grew dense and tangled a thicket of wires and connections channeling a shadow a careful mold for Flynn to manifest. A tailored husk to hide inside as an interface between souls. The last was her head, the center of the mind, but here lie Flynn's coin. Flynn's careful hand struggled but held firm with a focused eye at Molly's own. Flynn's attention looked deeper beneath the skin by virtue of the frame and the path she'd traveled to get to the seat of the mind. Here Flynn writ the final nest within which her body would sleep, centered upon the Reacher's coin.
Flynn's head occluded it as she put her stitch hand over Molly's heart, "I ask to build a shelter within the shadow of your tower. I give of myself that Grandfather Teeth may build with my blood. No thing taken; no thing hidden; no right of harm. All paths of my place under your tower I share in rightful burdens."
Her nails pinch Molly's chest as Flynn asks with a flinch of her own, "I knock upon your tower, do you ask me in?"
Something behind the wall quivered the flow of magic as it listened. Though the flow was cold. A patron it may appear but this one excised from motivation. Its magic carrying the patterns of humankind and failing wards of the heavens now long since rendered discordant by ages of wear.

Molly had remained still under the tapestry weaved above her, unable to truly see the magic, but more than able to see the effects of it. Damn, she wished she had done a mage sight charm before taking part. This was interesting. It was also incredibly ritualistic, and she could see why a willing participant made a huge difference. Smiling up at Flynn, she responded. "I welcome you in my tower." That was the best she could do, to make it clear to the magic involved that this was willing. She kept her focus on that as well.
Flynn was welcome to take her shape, take her form. There may be troubles, but they were solvable ones and she could handle them. They could handle them. And perhaps, maybe, it would be nice to have a twin again. This one she wouldn't have the same bond with, no, but it would still be nice.
Molly had missed seeing a reflection of herself. And with her body different now, this would be a whole new experience.

In consent Flynn's eyes lost what luster they had to a deeper dark. One that drew in a faint blue from somewhere distant as a line grew taut. The blue weaving above Molly throbbed with a squirming dance curling and dividing as Flynn's own body split and cracked. In between the boards and plaster of her ceiling the faint trundle of gears there that distended space as Flynn's efforts drew Grandfather Teeth near.
It normally didn't take this long but Flynn could feel the deep scraping that echoed in the deepest parts of her memories. Hear the straining of metal against some distant surface in a memory that ought not to change. When the straining of metal grew strong Flynn closed her flat black eyes.
"By my will, your tower, and his teeth, it is done.", Flynn said raising both hands up.
The fraying and tying lattice gleamed red once, dripping red as veins played into reality from inside out. The weaving fell upon Flynn a net grasping tight at her feathers then drawing blue blood pulling still tighter. Her coin a ramrod toward her heart but from it the blue flushed red as feathers gate way to flesh. The hollows between the weave split her open but flowed back together. A layer of blue unto ribs, sinew, meat, skin, then hair quite familiar. The furrows turning scarce in what shortly turned Molly's skin the face contorting then welding together. Flynn's mind sturdy enough to take the pain and keep concentration made the connection to the one whom the husk belonged. Much like a twin Molly could feel Flynn as she lived and borrowed her self image.
Breathing heavy rather bare bosomed Molly the voice twinged with fluted notes soon smoothed to Molly's own voice, "Haah... you are my size... at least. Well, now you have a twin. You can glamour me as you would... glamour yourself."
Flynn inspected her arms hissing at the flesh that smoked with the appearance of a tattoo. Metal parts of her binding only evinced upon the husk as black shadows tightly bound to the self-image though they were. Weak and trembling Flynn collapsed sideways from astride Molly then once-saurid struggled to her feet. Two worried peeps from behind her as the whelps sensed their mother change. A worried stare with Molly's face Molly could tell what Flynn was feeling should Molly stop to listen to that tenuous instinct that certainly did come with a twin.
A red tongue licked the two whelps on the head then picked them up to her chest struggling with Molly's arms, "They're tired, but I sleep when you do now."

Molly stood and looked amused. "I'll apply a glamour in the morning. For now, it's bed time. Let's get everyone into some pajamas and then we can share the bed. It's big enough." It was made big enough for her mentor. She had shamelessly stolen her apprentice bed, which had been made for someone his height. Molly led the way taking one of the whelps from Flynn. "I think the twins can probably just sleep in one of my t-shirts. It'll be big on them, but better than nothing. And you can just borrow my clothes, and Karato's if I still have them." She did, taking up half the closet, as usual "I'm tired. You're exhausted, I can tell." And if the other slept when she did that meant long days and short nights.
Molly helped change the twins into t-shirts and showed Flynn how to put on the night gown and pajama pants, then got dressed herself, not caring about being nude in front of the other. Flynn was literally her identical twin at this point. The other had seen her body. The other had her body! Once they were attired, Molly arranged the whelps between them and laid down, so Flynn could lay on the other side. If she had read everything correctly, the whelps in the middle, the most protected place, would help Flynn settle in some. "I'll pick up a baby book so you can see how humans interact with their whelps." She yawned. "The library will have one." With that, she began to doze off, perfectly comfortable with a full bed.

Flynn had no sense of modesty for the human form much less her own. Flynn was running on willpower by now and she started to stumble a bit until Molly took one of the whelps. They were not heavy but she found the human's upright stance really top heavy. She hadn't husked a human female before though it was more agile than the haggard Bill.
She raised an eyebrow absently smacking her lips while molly helped Flynn dress, "I can taste tongue. Ugh. The clothes are soft on the skin. Bill's husk did not have much of it. I should be indistinguishable from your body as long as you are conscious."
Quinn nearly slept on his feet barely moving at all but to peep periodically. Thebus however squirmed biting at the clothes as they tried to encase him in cloth. Flynn quieted him with a squeeze of his head to get his attention and a critical eye. Children the world over were squirming buckets of perpetual energy that denied the existence of sleep. Quinn fell asleep as soon as he hit the soft bed and Thebus crawled on top of him to lay sideways. Then promptly fell asleep. Their mother in Molly's body lay down too facing outward from the whelps where she could see the door. Tired eyes heavy with exertions of the day looked up at Molly as Flynn was quite worn down.
The voice was true now if limp with exhaustion, "A book from your libraries sounds good. I would like to learn more of this place."
If Molly dreamed at all she'd find a placid sleeping copy of herself wherever she went. Ignorant of the dreamworld.
