Aequitas groaned quietly, shaking his head. As tempting as the Egyptian could be, he was still in the casa de perro. "No, we may hunt, but that is all. You are lucky I do not sleep in the shop, in the morning." Gently, he slipped out from under his husband. "I am going outside for a cigarette."
Now, Aeq hadn't smoked since just after he had been turned. If this didn't say just how upset he was, nothing would.

Milo watched his love leave and let his head drop. Did the other even have cigarettes left? He smiled after his heart. Well, at least the man was still willing to hunt with him. "I would sleep in the shop before letting you, love." Rare that he used english for his affections. He would be forgiven, in time. He hoped. He sighed. "I'll see where a party is tonight. We can have a favorite flavor. Mafiosos." He knew where to find them. It jsut wasn't wise to hunt and drain them very often.

"We shall see," he said softly. He had actually purchased a pack just after reading the article, and he proved it by pulling it from his vest pocket. He would not light up inside, but he would prepare to.
Aequitas strode to the door and pulled it open. He did not slam it. A good sign. He stepped a few feet away from the door before he finally lit up.

It was several hours later that Milo returned a thick folder in hand as he flipped through it to make certain that it would have everything his love would need. It looked fairly complete and he thought it would be enough, or at least hoped that it would. It included all the details the court have on the Carmillian family, the premier magical mafia that existed. Or at least, the major one, and they were local enough Milo hoped that it would be enough to get back into his habibi's good graces. He had promised the information though, and even if he has reservations, he would do this, for his love.
"Habibi? I've got the promised dossier." And he was glad to share it. Well, not glad, but would do so.

At the point that Milo returned, Aequitas was down in his workshop, cleaning his guns. Even if he hadn't ever had a chance to use them in the past couple of years, he made sure that they were always in working order. After all, who knew if he'd need to use them?
"Down here, mi marido!" he called out, his voice softer than it had been hours ago. Now that he had cooled down, he knew that he had been rather cruel to his mate. After all, he had just wanted to keep him safe. Problem was, really, that he had been going stir crazy. He had had absolutely nothing to help channel his more bloodthirsty nature, and it had been wearing on him.
Maybe he should have explained it to Milo. Milo had things to keep his temper in check. With his work at the Courts, things were always a bit... violent. With Milo keeping Aequitas away from even those (though, who would really want to deal with vampire politics?) the only outlet he had was hunting.
Hunting was hard enough, he had to admit. He still refused to feed from an innocent. He was even less inclined to drink from the juice boxes, instead. But that garnered funny looks, as well, and only increased the irritation he felt.

Milo slipped down to the workshop and smiled at the sight of his husband cleaning his guns. The guns still seemed a little odd to him, but Aequitas seemed to care for them. Still, it looked like they would likely get some use shortly and on one hand, Milo couldn't wait. Perhaps he could go with the other to watch, though he doubted they'd make it back if he did. The thought of Aequitas being covered in the blood of his victims was, perhaps, a little too arousing.
The vampire slipped over to his husband and kissed his cheek, assuming the other would let him. "I have what you asked for, habibi." He put the folder on the table and sighed. "You'll have to plan carefully, but I think you'll not have too hard a time of it." At least for the lower rings of the family. He still wasn't certain about how the upper rings would go. But perhaps once he had seen his love work, he would be less tense about the idea.
Aequitas was a grown man. It was time he stopped sheltering his beloved one so very much. The other could handle himself, probably.

Aequitas smiled softly as he pulled the barrel back onto his Desert Eagle, before setting it down on the work bench. His eyes lit up a little, and he spun so that his marido could settle down on his lap if he wanted. "You do comprende why I was so angry, si? Mi Amore, I would not have gone after them without letting you know where I was going."

Oh that was an invitation he would not turn down. Milo took his place in his husband's lap and smiled up at him, cuddling close. He nodded and sighed, relaxing some. "I understand. I should have told you sooner, once you had...calmed from the turning." Calmed was a good way of putting it. Milo was still a little worried about a possible frenzy given the amount of blood that would be shed, but much less. Still he pulled back long enough to look his love in the face. "You do know that if we do this, that fucking MCU will be on our tail?" He was not a fan of the cops.

Aequitas snorted, half a smirk on his lips. "When are la policia not on my tail, mi marido?" He gently took the file from Milo's hand and set it down upon the table behind him. "If my reactions still worry you so much, then come with me. See if I can control myself."

Milo considered this option. It was true. The cops were often on their collective tails. He sighed and smiled, leaning against the other, content to be there. "Ah, but will I be able to control myself, seeing you work?" That was the question wasn't it. The very idea sent rather raunchy thoughts through his head. His love was handsome enough without added trouble. "I will come with, if only to reassure myself." If it was okay, of course.

Aequitas nodded, wrapping an arm around the smaller vampire's middle. "Si. Perhaps then you will know I am safe. But you must do as I say, no matter how silly it may seem." He leaned back against the table top. "Now, let us see this file."

Milo cuddles close and smiled. "They are called the Carmillian Family." He said and opened the folder to the first page. It was dominated by a logo. "The boss is Arthur Carmillian. Everything they own, they put those crossed arrows on." Their colors were red and black. The conversation was put on hold by a brief knock, the flare of their wards being split, and someone entering the house.
"Milo! I know you're here! Where in here are you?" That was Tyrus Rahal's voice. He may be the baby of the family, but he was perfectly fine with breaking into his brother's homes. It wasn't like their wards could stand up to him. Absently, he fixed the wards as he entered.

Aequitas nodded along to Milo's explanation, almost about to respond when he heard Ty enter. "Oh madre hijo de puta. ¿Tiene que ser tan malditamente ruidoso? ¡Y las barreras!" He didn't bother to translate, since it was rather obvious that he was complaining about Ty.
"We're down here, puta!" he called out to the mage, his voice obviously irritated. That said, he tightened his arm around his husband's waist. If Tyrus was going to break in, then it was Aeq's duty as brother-in-law to irritate the man as much as absolutely possible.

Tyrus came down the stairs and snorted. "At least get a better insult for me. Milo know perfectly well I come when I go. You guys have state of the art wards thanks to me. I get leeway." They were free and better than the ones at the precinct. "I'm pretending I see none of this by the way." He usually did that with his family and his contractor work with MCU. "Milo where's the blood boxes? The foundling is out."
Milo rolled his eyes and cuddled closer. "Try being there while he grew up. He used to be worse." Tyrus may be his littler brother, but he was also a pain in the ass.

He rolled his eyes, levelling a look at his brother in law. "Teach it to hunt, then. We aren't a blood bank, Ty." He grinned at his Marido. "If he was worse than this growing, then perhaps there really is hope for the little chicos he teaches."
