Maria had so many questions right now, including why was the coyote talking and was it actually claiming to be Coyote? She didn't know, but she kept her hand on her gun, just in case. Somehow, she didn't think it would do much more than slow it down. At least Xiaolian seemed to have this under control? Or at least, she seemed to have it under control a hell of a lot more than Maria would have. She couldn't even follow the conversation. Molly looked between the two and considered things. She really should have pushed harder on getting the planar breach fixed because now they were dealing with an old god, apparently, and she couldn't even let Maria know without setting it off, possibly. She hesitated a moment then thought through what the coyote was saying. Wouldn't you just hold a band-aid to the spot and stitch it shut? Assuming it hadn't hit anything internal at least, that's what Molly would do. Or have done for her. She'd go to the professionals for something like that.
It was at that moment her family responded to her call, Zander stepping into existence just behind her. "Molly, what's the matter?" It had been a need help call more than a distress call. There were different patterns they had all memorized, so they could communicate across planes. Molly glanced back at her mentor and managed a tight smile.
"Possible extra-planar being. Possibly belongs on this plane. I can't decide."

Coyote sprayed mealy red in a yip of enjoyment at stalled contemplation,"[yip!][yip!]Prey never sees the hunter if it is not looking, little trapped hawk. Just a biting arrow. Maybe the poacher likes it that way. Maybe you try to pull the arrow. Maybe you run to your pack for safety. Maybe you don't see the drips. Maybe the poacher does. Maybe the mountain the poacher cannot pass easily."
Coyote lay down as the violet eyes fixed on Maria with its toothy grin, "Maybe your mountain children are so very hollow. Maybe they fill themselves with curiosity. Maybe I ate the hearts of your children. Maybe I am proud Taibo's grandchildren might make monsters of heaven. Maybe I'd eat my fill of the heavens and darkness too. Maybe I'd watch their silver city burn."
The side of the Coyote shuddered as the transfiguration ceased with a canyon opening in its side. The fur turning pale as it's discolored with blood. The coyote turns on its side once more one hip bent at a painful angle. The inside gave a gurgle as air pushed out of the lungs. Long translucent bronze shapes erupt from the grinning maw and hollow eyes to froth about the body tearing metal gears from inside its flesh.
