Tyrus considered the options. "My entire family is dead." He admitted slowly. "But...there's one or two I could trust in that court. I can reach out, but they may be too scared." He knew people from the court of course. But knowing someone trustworthy from the court was something else entirely. And with the upheaval, he didn't know the structure of the court any more. It can't have changed too much this quickly, but it would still have changed.
Molly thought over her contacts and her shoulders slumped. "I don't know anybody. They're vampires. They aren't exactly fae friendly." She didn't want to be made into a snack, and she had a feeling she would be if she spent too much time with vampires at all. Still, she considered her options and searched her mind. "I can reach out to a ward breaker I know of. She's done work for the court before and might know someone." That was the best she could do.

"You know what? Those sound like leads to follow." Xiaolian commented. "Let me know what you guys find, and play it safe okay? I don't need either one of you disappearing." They knew little and had even less to go off of if they wanted to try and get Catherine back. They couldn't even prove it was the Dragon Court, and asking for help from the Council could take ages.
"I'll talk with Johnson... at least you two don't have to deal with the guy."
Officer Henry Johnson was one of the least liked and least regarded officers on the force. Rumor was that he had had to go through academy twice, having failed the first time and only passing with less than legal means. His lackadaisical attitude and half baked ideas often got him in more trouble than anything else. If the man had just decided to do things the way he had been told, instead of dreaming up schemes that would somehow propel him up the foodchain, he wouldn't be suddenly finding himself on vampire ambassator duty.

"I have every intention of playing it safe. I already ended up in the hospital once thanks to this. I don't want to end up doing that again." He had no desire to end up in the hospital or in protective custody again, or end up taking shelter in another realm entirely. He was no going back to that farm, and could not be paid to do so. He liked his life here entirely too much to put up with sheep again.
Molly wrinkled her nose. "I'll keep my head down. I don't want to attract their attention. I'll tell my acquaintance to keep her head down too." She may not be willing to say anything, just so she didn't lose her head at all. Molly wouldn't blame the other wardbreaker if she didn't want anything to do with the case. Ending up on the wrong side of the court when the court had seemingly gone rogue like this was no one's idea of a fun time.
