He shrugged. "Unfortunately not. I'm afraid I've already told you everything I know about it." He lied handily, but it was still a lie. "I'm sure you'll find out more about it soon though. MCU works hard after all." And did very little for all their hard work. He was quite certain they'd find nothing else on the mask. It'd take a minor miracle for them to discover anything else after all, given the mask was safe inside his apartment where they couldn't get to it without his permission. And he had given them nothing solid to go off of for a warrant. They had no clue, as far as he was concerned.
Maria smiled. "That's unlucky." She didn't say her true feelings on the matter. Xiaolian was the star of the show for this and the junior specialist was there largely for backup. So far, nothing appeared to be happening though, and she wondered if they'd actually use the warrant they had to search the premises.

"Really? That's funny because some of your pack we talked to, nice fellows by the way, said you had it. You wouldn't be lying to an officer would you Mike?" Xiaolian asked countering his lie with one of her own. The family was safe, and no where he or anyone else in the pack could reach them. She didn't blame them for seeking safety in numbers and a community of like individuals. It was the story of much of the unseen and their communities.
Xiaolian knew that provoking the wolf wasn't a good idea, but she could get Maria and herself out of there fairly fast. That was if she leveraged the ability to do what the other called teleporting, in reality it was just the ability to fold space around her and make distances shorter. It generally allowed for the facilitation of speed and efficiency, unlike the Ratatoskr who were slow and ponderous in their methods.

"And which members of the pack told you about that? I'd love to talk to them." He growled, clearly angry now, though he didn't quite realize what he said. Maria did though and she managed a sweet smile.
"Well sir, you just did, for one." She pulled out handcuffs and held them up, her intent perfectly clear. "Please turn and face the wall, alpha O'Hara." She intended to cuff him, but he snarled and lashed out to backhand her. Maria moved, but was only human and didn't move fast enough. she hit the ground hard with a yelp of pain as the alpha turned to face the bigger threat of the two. Xiaolian was the danger of the two of them. The other was too new to be dangerous.

Xiaolian had hoped to get through this without drawing her weapon or causing more paperwork, but O'Hara wasn't having it any way other than the hard way. "Get on the ground! Now!" She demanded drawing her gun and aiming it at the wolf.
Was this what Zhen had meant when he said be careful? Xiaolian had checked the lunar phases and determined that O'Hara's power would be waning, but it didn't seem that way. He had managed to get in a shot at Maria and they had naively assumed that he would cooperative. It was only when pressed about the mask did he get angry.

Maria moved to kneel, ignoring the throbbing, and drew her own gun, pointing it at O'Hara. "On the ground!" She echoed, keeping her gun pointed at the center of mass. She wasn't going to be some hero here, or some crackshot. O'Hara assessed the situation, a gun pointed at him from two different direction and snarled. If it had been magic, he would have moved. But both of them were using guns, and he wasn't faster than a bullet. The alpha slowly lowered to his knees.
Maria stood, keeping her gun trained on her. "Hands on your head." She ordered, hands shaking slightly from the shock of how quickly the situation had changed. "You're under arrest." He hadn't been going to get far regardless, but after striking her, he was going to be lucky if he was even offered bail. She doubted he would given how her face throbbed. It was going to leave a nasty bruise and that was going to be fun to walk around with.

For now Xiaolian was thankful for small victories like the one with O'Hara. It had happened with little bloodshed and drama, and she was glad she had made the decision to tell the Warden that they could handle it. She just hoped that this would the end of all the weirdness.
With Maria covering her, Xiaolian edged closer to the wolf. Withdrawing a pair of handcuffs, she secured the cuffs around his wrists before proceeding. "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court..." She said bluntly as she motioned to Maria to put her gun away. They could have O'Hara taken in by another officer, in the meantime it looked like Xiaolian was going to need to take Maria to the Emergency Room to get checked out.
