"Words at times can mean more than actions, Tyrus. I would advise you to remember that." Catherine had tried her best to not be offended, but the wound Tyrus had made earlier was still raw. Turning her back to him, she stood arms crossed thinking back over the evening's events. Admittedly it was her fault, but no harm had ever come to anyone or him. Still, as Catherine stood there tapping her fan against the palm of her free had, she knew she was still in the wrong. However saying so would be difficult, and perhaps best left until after he was sober.
"Someone will see you to your rooms and bring you something for your head. I will tell Tatianna you are not well and have gone to retire for the evening." That much she could do for him right then and there.
With that, she set off to find someone to retrieve Tyrus from his prickly position and take him to his rooms.
Catherine suspected she would be paying for this for weeks to come.

The next morning, revenge was at hand. They had incredibly little time to get Catherine, magic shy as she was, comfortable with the magic in her skin. Also, Tyrus had one hell of a headache and had already undone the magic he did last night. The bushes should recover. He hoped. If not well. Two bushes sacrificed to the name of drunken antics was fine. Revenge was going to be fun to have too. Tyrus had snuck into Catherine's suite after a quick trip outside to pick up some round stones. They were frozen solid now and he was entirely too amused.
The mage floated them above her and let them lightly fall, ice cold. Four ice cube style stones would be more than enough to wake her up. She had training to do already after all. Six months would be enough time. If they spent almost every second of it training.
By the end of the their time here she'd be a master of her magic. Maybe not with all the knowledge of a proper student of magic, but she would have all the control.

Catherine had been sleeping soundly for the first time in a long time, or at least since the incident with the Council. Because of this and where she was, she hadn't thought to keep her guard up.
Settled firmly into the comfortable warmth of a feather mattress and quilts, she was none the wiser that Tyrus had crept in unannounced.
The first stone hit, landing somewhere near her feet and was promptly ignored by a sleepy mumble and roll over to the other side of the bed. The other ones however soon found their mark.
It didn't take long before a startled scream echoed down the corridor followed by a string of swears and epithets that didn't warrant repeating.
"I will kill you where you stand you bloody mage!!" Catherine bellowed, now fully awake and very angry.

Tyrus burst into laughter. That was better than he had thought it would be. And it was well deserved. "You shouldn't have got me drunk. Come on. Up! Get dressed. You have lessons." First thing in the morning. Breakfast could wait until she had worked up an appetite. And he planned on making certain she did work up an appetite. He was not about to go easy on Catherine when it came to training. She could take the lessons and it wasn't like they had a choice in the matter. He had six months to whip her into shape. Long days of nothing but magic where ahead. Tyrus planned on enjoying them as much as he could given he'd be on a farm with no technology and a distinct lack of entertainment.
The mage was quick to escape though. Catherine was terrifying when angry. This had still been a great way to start the day even if he was hungover.
