I think I may have seen your stuff before… weren’t you on <site>?
Oh sure, probably! Or someone who had a similar idea may have been. Most of us are veterans of multiple sites and styles. We’ve migrated all over the place over the years. Many of use may even be on more than one site at a time, playing in similar settings on each site, maybe even in the same setting entirely.

It has recently come to our attention that there may be still some unanswered questions, even with our FAQ.
So first and foremost.. let's talk about a bit of a "verboten" topic among RPers, other websites. They exist, no big deal! In fact many of us are members of some sort of other RP sites and communities (Reddit, Discord, other websites too numerous to list).
It's important to realize that active RPers do move around, they do run multiple scenes/plots/characters, sometimes all on the same site, sometimes not. A lot of us have even moved around a fair bit ourselves. For example many of have made the migration like this:
MSN -> Yahoo/Geocities/Yahoo Groups -> Various Websites -> Reddit/Discord.
If you ask politely, we would be more than happy to tell you our backgrounds. What we won't ever do is tell you to avoid a site, a community, or even players. Just because it wasn't a fit for us doesn't mean it isn't or won't be for you.
I sincerly hope that this clears up a lot of misconceptions, and aids you on your journey to finding places and persons to RP with. If you so happen to stop and stay awhile with us, that's wonderful! If you don't, that's okay too!
