Faerie Court

The land of the fae, rich with magic and for most possibly the origin of all magics. Here there is a veil that keeps magic safe and sound, guarded by the Seelie or Summer court and it's ruler Queen Tatiana. While different from their cousins in the Unseelie or Winter Court, these Fae still live for drama and intrigue. Sometimes they may grow bored, and will on occasion find a human to put into a slightly precarious or uncomfortable situation for their own entertainment. However, this isn't to say that they don't like humans, in fact they're really quite receptive to them and amicable to most others of the Unseen World (if they're polite enough). The Seelie will do as many good deeds as they feel fit to help humans, even if it puts them into compromising situations.

The Unseelie or Winter Court and Queen Maab are the opposite of the bright shining warmth of the seelie. They enjoy striking a bargain, that is if the bargain benefits them and causes misfortune for someone else. They are the least receptive to humans and many times will out of their way to be cruel and malicious to them or even others of the Unseen World (fae included).

Despite these polar opposites living in the same realm, it must always been remembered that the fae are civilized. Their rules, manners, and reasonings all have purpose.

However, one must always be aware, as with any other mystical place; that time here passes slowly in the land of ever summer. For if you spend too long, you will find those that you knew no longer, and yourself without a place in the mortal realm.
